    Biography:

    Carol Bowser is a dynamic and engaging presenter who empowers people to become better communicators, problem solvers and team players.  She is the President of Conflict Management Strategies, Inc. and is an expert in workplace conflict, what creates it and how to resolve it. While she HATES arguments, she loves maintaining sanity and increasing production by jumping into conflict to fully resolve it. She received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law and her Mediation Training through Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution.

    As humans we are learning beings. If something happens where we feel injured or our trust is breached, we remember. Some might say “we need a clean slate” or “we need to move forward”, but how do you do that? Is it even possible?  As a Human Resources Pro how to you help the leadership and the team accomplish this…because they all think that it is your job. This training will help you understand what keeps conflict on life support and how you might address past concerns without taking on burdens that aren’t properly yours.

    • Articulate the 4 primary responses to conflict and breach of trust and the impact on organizational performance.
    • Describe how the narratives keep past hurts and breaches of trust on “life-support” and prevent the full implementation of initiatives and undermine employee confidence in leadership.
    • Learn 2 frameworks to analyze and structure conversations to address past hurts that cause employee disengagement and organizational drag.
    • 3 straight forward tools to use to coach employees at all levels to address past issues, better plan implementation of change initiatives, and address post investigation hangover.
