Our presentation will focus on Washington State’s Paid Leave Laws - What Employers Need to Know. Washington enacted landmark legislation on Paid Family and Medical Leave. Many employers have asked - how does the new law apply to them? Join Bob Battles,  AWB’s General Counsel and Government Affairs Director Employment Law, in a discussion on the new Paid Family and Medical Leave law.  As an attendee you will learn:

    •          Details regarding what the new legislation and agency rulemaking requires of employers and employees.
    •          Review the elements of the new law and provide insight into why certain provisions were included.
    •          Learn what you as an employer should be doing now to prepare for the upcoming implementation of the law.

Registration begins at 11:15am with program beginning promptly at 11:30am.
