2022 Benefit Trends in an Era of "The Great Resignation"

Competition for talent remains fierce as employers continue to experience high turnover, and job openings are going unfulfilled. Employee expectations are higher than ever with many seeking employers that offer benefits, flexible work policies, and programs that support their financial, physical and emotional wellbeing. Benefits budgeting will also be a challenge. Employer health plans will continue to be affected by rising healthcare costs. HR professionals have tough work ahead to negotiate the varied challenges of an ongoing pandemic, and decision-makers will need to stay on top of trends in healthcare, compliance and benefits in order to develop thoughtful mitigation strategies.
