    SHRM Olympia is proud to present Amber Jenson of ilYOUmination Coaching and Wellness, LLC.  Amber is going to provide an engaging and intellectual discussion about reconizing how privilege and ethical influences impact work relationships and how to create more inclusive environments!       

    Biography:

    Amber Jenson SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a certified life and health coach and speaker, with a master’s degree in psychology.  She is an experienced human resources professional with a background in performance management and employee/leadership coaching and training. Amber is EFT/TFT and Reiki certified and she enjoys using mediation and other mindfulness practices for herself and with clients.

    Race and gender are clear examples of privilege, but do you know the other categories? The fact is that privilege can have impacts on your work relationships that you don't even realize. It doesn't stop at just privilege, other ethical influences can impact the employee-leader relationship. Recognizing how privilege and ethical influences impact work relationships and identifying ways to create a more inclusive environment is key to workplace success and employee engagement. 

     

    Participants will:

    • Identify their own place of privilege and explore how it impacts relationships with employees
    • Recognize ethical influences impacting leader-employee interactions.
    • Be able to describe techniques for enhancing the leader-employee relationship
