Jacki Jewell, Food and Beverage Director
                                                    Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel

    Biography:
Jacki is an Executive at the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel who oversees the Food and Beverage Industry which includes 11 restaurants and 250 team members.  Jacki’s leadership style and team approach is rooted in her love of basketball.

As an All-American basketball player at Southern Oregon University Jacki has experienced great teams, turnover, pressure to perform and the difficulty of creating unity.  Jacki began her career in the casino industry as a restaurant cashier. She was quickly seen as a leader among her peers and for the last two years she has served at the Executive level. The key to her success has been to build effective teams. Jacki hasn’t let the industry’s high turnover effect the team results.  Jacki is continuously evaluating team members, investing in training, and restructuring teams based on strengths.

Passionate about building careers not just jobs, Jacki has invested in milestone programs and continuous training to help develop team members professionally and personally. She is actively involved in her community and is part of United Way Lewis County where their goal is to lift families out of poverty by creating paths of stability and a strong foundation for success.

    Program Information:

    • Are you in tune with your team’s needs?
    • Is there inherent turnover in your industry or department?
    • Are you struggling to keep team momentum with a workforce willing to “job hop?”

The workforce has shifted from "loyalty to company" to "loyalty to person" in the past.  Recently and now more so than ever it has shifted to "loyalty to self and one’s values."  This shifts the turnover conversation from a negative to an enlightening values-based conversation. Designed for leaders at all levels, this program will help you get ahead of the curve by rethinking how you approach hiring, training and relationship building.
