    Speakers:

Ms. Amy Leneker & Mr. Joe Vansyckle
Why do  people do  what they  do? A  human‐centered approach  to influencing sustainable  change.

    Summary:
Do you ever wish that  people would just behave  differently at work,  home  or  in your community? Have you tried to implement a new system or  process  only to see it fail due to ineffective human behavior? One of the most  important capacities we possess  is our  ability  to  influence behavior. Yet few  of us have  a systematic way to  influence sustainable  change. We  may  change systems and processes  but without changing behavior, things will go  back  to  the way  they  were. If  you want to  succeed  as an influencer,  you have to  answer this one question: Why is this person  doing  what  they are  doing? In this workshop  we will discover  how  to answer that  question. Join us and be prepared to  take your ability  to  influence to a whole new level.

    Learning  Objectives:
    1. Recognize  your personal ability  to  influence.
    2. Learn a systematic way to  influence sustainable  change.
    3. Understand why changing behavior is an influence challenge.
    4. Increase  trust in relationships, teams and organizations

    Mr. Dennis Bauer
How  to  Live at  the Edge  and Still be Home  for  Dinner

    Summary:
Do you wish you were  able to  stay  calm, collected, and confident  when dealing  with unexpected  business issues that arise throughout the day?  Do you wish you could  lead  your team  through uncertainty  and stressful situations  more efficiently? When his plane’s  engine quit  at  5,000  feet off  the ground, Dennis was forced  to  recall three words  his flight  instructor taught  him, Aviate,  Navigate  and Communicate.   For  the past 27  years, he has applied  these concepts  to business management  so  leaders are prepared for  “The Unexpected.”    Prepare  to learn how  to  build a culture  of teamwork  and to  strengthen  your communication  capabilities  as a leader.

    Learning Objectives:
    1. Prepare  for  and better  handle unexpected  business challenges.
    2. Learn to communicate  effectively in stressful situations.
    3. Build and broaden teams during critical situations  to  be more  efficient communicators.
    4. Build and learn small business communication  and leadership  traits
