This program will educate participants on managing performance. Many managers and supervisors shy away from providing expectations, conducting coaching sessions, and evaluating employee performance. In some cases they have never been trained, and in others they are not comfortable with giving direct feedback to employees. As a result, Human Resources professionals often find themselves performing these functions on behalf of the supervisor.
This workshop provides tools and guidance for HR professionals to teach and guide managers and supervisors on the ways they can manage employee performance.
Participants will walk away with tools to help managers:
- Provide direction to employees so they know what is expected of them
- Deliver a coaching session
- Assess performance
The workshop will cover how to convince managers of the value of performance management, as well as providing checklists and guides for implementation of the performance management process. The workshop is interactive and uses real world examples and formats easily transferred to the workplace.
