    Lee Williams is a Faculty Member in the Business & Management Training Center at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington.  Lee designs, develops, and delivers on-site customized training in the areas of strategic planning, leadership, supervisory skills, decision-making, conflict management & resolution, relationship management, team-building, and other professional business skills.

    Lee will be discussing behaviors and situations of people who "Push Your Buttons"!  Specifically, our world is ever changing.  Stressors are increasing and difficult situations and behaviors are on the ride.  What triggers a person to lose control?  Can you manage a situation before it escalates out of control?  In this presentation, participants will learn how to recognize and effectively deal with stressful situations and behaviors in the workplace.

    Objectives:

    • Describe the behaviors of people who are button pushers
    • Assess your hot buttons and pet peeves
    • Identify appropriate responses to difficult situations
    • Master strategies that will help you effectively handle difficult situations and people
